Éabha’s story is about primarily about self acceptance versus our desire to fit in. Éabha feels that she has never fitted in, the result of which is an overwhelming desire to have a “normal”, family life - like everybody else. Everybody else however, is not always as happy as one might think.
In an attempt to get what she thinks she wants, Éabha ends her relationship with a man she truly loves and settles for one that she doesn’t.
Her journey brings her to the point where she appreciates what she had to begin with and realizes that the price to pay for a “normal”, family life can sometimes be too high.
