Last Friday (May 18), director of photography Brian Shanley (Love’s Unfolding Dream) and new director Niall Fallon wrapped filming on ‘An Gadaí’ from Medb Johnstone’s script. All three shorts are now in post-production.

Cinematographer Réamonn Mac Donncha (Ar Ancaire) is currently working with director Cathal Ó Cuaig and writer Séamus Moran on ‘Síle,’ with Fergal O’Hanlon (Anton) and Ken Byrne (Some Mothers Son) set to begin shooting with new directors Colm Bairéad and Tom Ó Suilleabháin, respectively, on the final two shorts ‘Páirtnéir’ and ‘Eoinín.’ ‘Páirtnéir’ was written by Ann Marie Flanagan and ‘Eoinín’ was written by Seán T Ó Meallaigh.

All six shorts are being filmed on-location in An Spidéal and Galway city. Síol Scéal Productions is a training provider with Ciarán Ó Cofaigh producing.
