Waiting For The Light
New Irish documentary feature ‘Waiting for the Light’, a portrait of veteran director George Morrison (Mise Eire, Saoirse?), has inspired a retrospective of the filmmaker and his works in Dublin, culminating with a screening of the film at the Stranger than Fiction Festival.

‘Waiting for the Light’ will screen on Saturday 27th September at 5pm at the IFI in Dublin – the climax of an event series celebrating George Morrison’s work. The IFI will hold a retrospective of his films, some previously unseen, at 6.30 pm on Wednesday 24th September and Filmbase will open an exhibition of his photographs and work at 8 pm.

‘Waiting for the Light’ is produced and directed by Cıarín Scott, who trained under Morrison. Both Scott and George Morrison will attend the Stranger Than Fiction premiere and will participate in a post screening Q&A with the audience.
