23 Mar 2023 | Irish screenwriter and novelist Ronan Bennett (Top Boy, Gunpowder, Public Enemies) is the writer and showrunner of the upcoming TV adaptation of The Day of the Jackal. The series is based on the 1971 Frederick Forsyth novel about an assassin contracted to kill French president Charles de Gaulle, as well as the subsequent 1973 film adaptation of the same name from Universal Pictures.
