IFTA/BAFTA Panel discussion held in London on January 22nd looks at maximising S481 tax incentives for UK Producers
29 Jan 2015 | IFTA and BAFTA co-hosted a panel discussion in London on Thursday, January 22nd – with over 180 producers and financial execs (including 40 Irish producers who travelled to the UK for the event) turning out to listen to an expert panel talking about maximising the tax incentives offered by Ireland’s newly enhanced and broadened Section 481 guidelines for UK producers.

BAI awards funding of €1.4 million to education and animation projects
23 Jan 2015 | The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) has today announced the award of €1.414 million to 25 education and animation projects, through its Sound & Vision funding scheme. The package of recommendations was ratified by the Authority at its meeting on January 22nd.

Northern Irish companies speak out against proposed 50% cuts

According to boxofficemojo.com, the film has made $55,725,500 in the US box office and $153,100,000 across other territories, making a total of $208,825,500 in total worldwide receipts. It is one of the highest ever grossing films with an Irish director at the helm.
