Dublin’s Showtime Analytics receives €1.2m Investment from Alibaba

2015 Broadcaster Deficits for TV3
29 Nov 2016 | In the changing landscape of Irish broadcasting, 2015 can be looked back as a time that saw deficits hitting many. RTÉ reported a deficit of €2.8m in 2015 with a projected loss of €20m for 2016 and UTV Ireland reported a €10.2m operating loss for the first half of the 2015. TV3 has also suffered losses last year of almost €17 million.

Real Shorts Funding Recipients Announced by Irish Film Board

Recipients of the Short Stories funding scheme were announced on November 18th. Successful applicants to the Focus Shorts scheme have yet to be revealed.

Irish TV Closure leads to job losses in Northern Ireland
28 Nov 2016 | It's understood around 30 jobs have been lost as a result of the closure. It's believed around nine full-time staff were employed at the office with around two dozen others working for the firm. The Irish TV (NI) Limited office is based at the Torrent Complex at Hillview Avenue in Donaghmore, Co Tyrone.
