‘Patrick’s Day’ Picks up Two Awards at Michigan; Irish Rights Acquired by Wildcard
03 Oct 2014 | Terry McMahon’s film ‘Patrick’s Day’ has won two jury awards at the Hell’s Half Mile Film and Music Festival in Michigan. The film received prizes in the categories of Best Actor, which was awarded to Moe Dunford, as well as Best Screenplay which went to McMahon, who both wrote and directed the film.

The IFI Horrorthon Releases Full Programme
03 Oct 2014 | For its 17th anniversary, IFI Horrorthon 2014 offers five days of the very best and worst in the horror genre. Taking place from 23rd – 27th October, the festival will host guests of honour Frank Henenlotter and Jessica Cameron. There will be a total of 38 features, many of them Irish premieres, shown over the period of the festival.

Cork Film Festival Announces details of November Festival
23 Sep 2014 | The Cork Film Festival has today released preliminary details of the 2014 programme, due to run from 7th November to the 16th November, including early information on features, documentaries, dramas and the Grand Prix Irish short finalists, two new additions to the festival; the Gradam Spiorad na Féile (Spirit of the Festival Award), a major international award for feature films, and new event series ‘Illuminate’ which uses film and discussion to explore mental health issues, presented in partnership with Arts and Minds and the financial support of the HSE.
