The Dublin Central School of Acting is to host a casting masterclass Gillian Reynolds on June 14.
The workshop is aimed at those currently working within the film and television industry or those who have completed training.
Reynolds has worked on a number of feature films, such as ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’, starring Guy Pearce, ‘Reign of Fire’, starring Christian Bale, and ‘Becoming Jane’, featuring Anne Hathaway.
She recently worked on Irish feature ‘A Kiss for Jed’, starring Mark O’Halloran (Adam and Paul) and Jayne Wisener (Sweeney Todd).
The Dublin Central School of Acting class will include lessons on making a good impression with casting directors, as well as giving a run down of the casting process from head shots to audition offers.
Mock auditions will be staged during the masterclass, and participants will learn how to effectively communicate during an interview.
