Irish dance crew Prodijig were last night crowned winners of the Sky 1 series ‘Got To Dance’.
In a nail biting finish, the Irish troupe battled Tayleur and Elliot and Fear of the Unknown in the final dance showdown to win the £250,000 grand prize.
Hosted by Davina McCall, the Irish dancers performed in front of a 6,000 audience at the ‘Got to Dance’ final held in London’s Olympia theatre with the show regularly pulling in a million viewers.
The seven strong Prodijig crew (former Riverdance Members) hail from towns across Ireland but primarily work from the Belfast based training studio. They were also special guest peformers at the recent Irish Film & Television Awards in Dublin.
The team said of their 'Got To Dance' win: "We are over the moon. When Davina called out Prodijig's name - we've never been so proud in our entire life. Thanks to all our friends and family, to everyone everywhere in the UK and Ireland that voted. We all can't wait to go home and see our families."
