Northern Irish production company Waddell Media is currently in production with the second series of ‘Mo Ghrá Gael’ for TG4. The series follows two singletons Síle Ní Scanláin and Ainle Ó Cairealláin on a roadtrip around Ireland searching for their Grá Gael.
The six part series is shot on Digibeta and will film on locations around Ireland including Belfast, Cork, Galway, Dublin and Donegal. In each town, Síle and Ainle will meet up with other singles and choose someone to go out with on a first date. At the end of their roadtrip, they will pick one lucky someone who will travel abroad with them for a romantic short break for the final episode.
Series Producer and director is Sarah Reddin and the show will edited in house at Waddell Media, following the completion of production in November.
The series is funded by the Irish Language Broadcast Fund and TG4 and will air on TG4 in 2012.
