Rick Larkin’s 'Satellites & Meteorites' has picked up the Grand Jury Prize at the 2009 Santa Cruz Film Festival in California (May 9th to 15th)
Speaking after receiving the award director Rick Larkin said: "It’s great to win something like this, especially at a US festival, the film got a very warm reception at the screening and we're delighted the Jury has singled us out with this honour.”
‘Satellites & Meteorites’ stars Amy Huberman (The Clinic) and Adam Fergus (Inside I’m Dancing) as two lovers who are lost in each others subconscious. To date it has picked up many awards on the festival circuit most notably Best Editing at the Rhode Island International Film Festival, Best On-screen Couple at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival and Best Film at the Washougal Film Festival.
International sales for the film are handled by High Point Films in London.
