Catherine Tiernan is New Membership Development Manager at SPI

Tweet Catherine Tiernan has been appointed the new Membership Development and Communications Manager with Screen Producers Ireland (SPI). Tiernan, formerly the Head of Production & Development for Octagon Films takes over from previous SPI communications manager, Lorraine Morgan who has accepted a position with animation house, Brown Bag Films. During her years as Head of Production and Development with Octagon Films, Catherine Tiernan was involved with the productions of ‘Becoming Jane’ as production executive and ‘Inside I’m Dancing’ and ‘The Fifth Province’ as co-producer amongst many other feature documentaries and films. She previously ran her own production company Ocean Films and produced and directed several projects with the company, including ‘Garrett Fitzgerald: A Profile’, ‘Poorhouse’ and ‘Requiem for a Civilisation’.
