Waddell Media Examines ‘Health of the Nation’

Waddell Media’s ‘Health of the Nation’ begins on Wednesday, March 10th and sees Dr Mark Hamilton and new medical expert Dr Nina Byrnes take a pop-up health clinic around Ireland, offering instant diagnoses and tackling major health issues along the way.

The new eight part series for RTÉ was filmed in Naas, Waterford, Dundalk, Galway, Longford, Sligo, Cork and Limerick as the cameras followed the doctors in their mobile clinic. Each episode of the series sees the doctors in a different location. Furthermore, each programme will lay an emphasis on a particular health issue that has local relevance in the respective towns but is of universal concern.

‘Health of the Nation’ is produced and directed by Richard Weller (At Your Service). executive producers for Waddell Media are Jannine Waddell and Maggi Gibson, both of whom have previously executively producer ‘How Long Will You Live?’ and the executive producers for RTÉ are Niamh Farren (Inside 252) and IFTA winner Seán Mac Giolla Phádraig (Prime Time Investigates: Cocaine)

‘Health of the Nation’ begins on RTÉ ONE at 8.30pm on Wednesday 10th March.
