The acclaimed Irish actor who recently received the IFTA for Best Supporting Role in Film for ‘The Siege of Jadotville’ (Richie Smyth) is set to star as a series regular in the third season.
He joins a cast which includes Alexa Davalos (Clash of the Titans), Rupert Evans (American Pastoral) and Rufus Sewell (Gods of Egypt), as Wyatt Price.
Price’s family immigrated to New York from Ireland as refugees, then fled west again ahead of the Nazi invasion. Like most in the Neutral Zone, he’s learned to survive as a hustler, trading in various black market goods and services. But he’s more than just a survivor – he believes in what America was and what the Neutral Zone still is – a melting pot worth saving.
In addition to Smyth’s fantastic feature debut ‘The Siege of Jadotville’, O’Mara is known for his role as Jeffrey in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and voicing Bruce Wayne and Batman in both DC Comics and Warner Brothers’ productions. In feature work he took the role of Dirk Morrison in Robin Swicord’s ‘Wakefield’.
