Irish TV has announced details of their training course in Television Presenting. The weekend course takes place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th of April 2016 and tutors include Presenter Malachi Cush and Director Theo O’Grady.
This weekend course aims to explore all aspects of Television Presenting, from scripting to screen presentation. The course will combine a curriculum of practical exercises and each participant will be given the opportunity to produce a show-reel as part of the course.
Course participants will get a unique opportunity to learn from Irish TV presenter, Malachi Cush and benefit from workshops in front of camera during the practical training sessions.
The course also covers other areas of television production, including research, interview techniques, scripting for television and career advice.
“We are always developing new programming and unearthing new talent and this course will be a vital training ground for presenters and graduates looking to start a career in the television sector,” explained Irish TV CEO Pierce O’Reilly.
The course takes place on Saturday 16th from 10am to 6pm and Sunday 17th from 9am to 6pm in the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin 4. The cost of the course is €350 per participant including lunch on both days, all materials as well as professional photographs, tuition and training, and an edited showreel of each participant’s onscreen trial.
