‘Baz’s Culture Clash’ Invades our Screens
14 Sep 2009 :
'Baz’s Culture Clash’ Animo Television’s new series sees Baz Ashmawy meet and interact with several individuals who have chosen to follow alternative lifestyles. The series was directed by Barry Egan and produced by Paili Meek. The executive producer was Adrian Lynch.

In conversation with IFTN Paili Meek describes the series as a “whirlwind of highlights” and says it was a challenge to find extreme cultures that Baz could ‘clash’ with. What impressed her, in making the series, is the absolute belief the individuals had in their respective lifestyles and worlds. Shooting of the series starting in September 2008 and wrapped in April 2009.

‘Baz’s Culture Clash’ starts Monday, September 14th at 10.25pm on RTÉ2 and will run for six episodes the first of which will see Baz visit radical alternative therapists in Los Angeles.
