The Gaiety School of Acting
The GSA Part-Time Training Suite provides a space for aspiring adult actors and theatre-makers to develop their skills.

Each level of the Part Time Actor Training Programme spans nine months and takes place two evenings a week. Click here if you are interested in applying for the course.

On successfully auditioning, the GSA will place selected participants in the level of the Suite that is most suited to your skill and experience. Once offered a place, actors will work with tutors and industry professionals with decades of involvement across a wide range of performing arts. These tutors will combine their years of experience with pedagogical research and study to deliver training that is engaging and valuable to your future and creative journey.

The GSA prides itself on being a community and promises students that their time at the acting school will not only enhance their performance skills, but it will also give them the opportunity to expand their network and make lifelong friends.

If you are searching for a shorter option for beginners, please see the GSA Beginners course.

‘I’ve just finished my part-time course and I wanted to send the school an email because I couldn’t have been happier with the quality of training I received!’ – Performance Year 2019

“The 2 years at the Gaiety were some of the best years of my life.” – Caoimhe O’Malley, Class of 2011.

The deadline for applications to the GSA Part-Time Training Suite is September 27th.

The Gaiety School of Ireland has also published its current response to the Covid-19 Pandemic here.
