‘Henry Hugglemonster’, the animated series produced by Dublin Company Brown Bags Films, has been commissioned for a second season by Disney Junior.
“Henry Hugglemonster” is an animated series for children about five year old Henry Hugglemonster and his loving and rambunctious monster family. Brown Bag Films developed the series from Irish author and illustrator Niamh Sharkey’s book ‘I’m A Happy Hugglewug’, published by Walker Books.
Cathal Gaffney, Executive Producer and CEO, Brown Bag Films, said: "This second series sees Brown Bag Films create a further 30 jobs, bringing us to 150 full-time staff in our Dublin studio.
"Knowing that children around the world continue to watch and love Henry Hugglemonster, which was originated, designed and animated in Ireland, makes us all very proud."

The series was directed by Norton Virgien, produced by Gillian Higgins, written by Sascha Paladino. The art director was Bronagh O’Hanlon and animation director was Shane Collins.
The series premiered on Disney Junior UK on February 8th 2013 and the second series will premiere in Autumn 2014 and will be shown by Disney Junior in more than 150 countries.
