Reelgood Studios production and post-production facility, based on Lower Baggot Street, have announced the appointment of sound engineer Dean Jones as their new Head of Audio.
Dean has previously applied his mixing capabilities to series such as ‘Love/Hate’, ‘The Voice of Ireland’, ‘Masterchef’, ‘The Apprentice’ and ‘Ryan Confidential’, and mixed dramas for international clients including ITV, BBC, SYFY and the Hallmark Channel.
He has also worked on a number of high-profile commercial campaigns including Guinness, Carlsberg, The National Lottery, UPC, Eircom, Meteor and Tesco.
Aidan Sheeran, Managing Director Reelgood, said: ‘I'm delighted to welcome Dean as our Head of Sound, to bring fresh thinking and experience to an audio department already at the forefront of the industry. We have big plans for the sound studios over the coming months and Dean will be very much at the heart of these changes. With Dean working alongside James Daly and John Williams, the future is very sound at Reelgood.’
The rest of the team at Reelgood, including James and John, expressed their excitement at the addition of Dean to the Reelgood team, adding that they were looking forward to learning some Scottish expletives in the coming months.
Mr Jones, known by his friends as ‘Game of Jones’, noted that it seemed like the right time to move, adding that ‘Reelgood have more buttons.’
