Last weekend, Dead Cat Bounce's comedy feature 'Discoverdale' was awarded Best Director (George Kane) and Audience Choice at Edinburgh's Bootleg Film Festival.
Already a Nevada Film Festival 'Golden Reel' winner, 'Discoverdale' is a fly-on-the-wall mockumentary that follows the Irish comedy band on a penniless quest to meet Whitesnake legend David Coverdale, who lead singer Jim believes to be his biological father.
On the heels of Whitesnake's actual world tour, the film was shot guerrilla-style in Dublin, London, Oslo, Copenhagen and Thurles and is quickly becoming a festival favourite, with upcoming US dates in Portland, Chicago and Oklahoma.
Featuring cameos and contributions from comedians Harry Hill, Phill Jupitus and Keith Farnan, the film was produced by James Dean and Chris Carey (Sky Atlantic's "This Is Jinsy", BBC4's "Dirk Gently").
