€3,000 On Offer For Student Filmmaking Competition

Student filmmakers are being called on to enter the charity competition
The Better Together public awareness social media campaign is calling on student filmmakers to submit a short video to support the campaign and be in with a chance of winning €3,000 for an organisation.

Students are asked to partner with an organisation of their choice to produce and direct an inspirational online video. Videos must be two minutes or less in length.

The winning organisation of each category will win €3,000 each. The categories are: Organisation with staff with a turnover greater than €500,000 per year; Organisation with staff with a turnover less than €500,000 per year and Volunteer only Organisation.

The campaign has been developed by The Wheel, the national support and representative body for non-profit organisations, and is supported by the Newsman’s Own Foundation as part of the Street Level Philanthropy Project.

Submissions are now open with the deadline November 5. The campaign will culminate with the Better Together Awards on December 6 when the winners will be announced. For more information see www.bettertogether.ie.
