Irish producer and company director Triona Campbell has been nominated for Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2012 by the Women Mean Business Conference and Awards.
Campbell is the founder and director of Dublin-based production company BeActive, which recently made waves in the multi-platform world with its project ‘Beat Girl’. ‘Beat Girl’ has been made into a TV series, a Pinterest game and a feature film.
Campbell’s other work includes ‘Aisling’s Diary’ for RTÉ YPP, ‘Yes I Can’ for Setanta Sports, ‘The Club’ , as well as feature film ‘The Knot’, which stars ‘American Pie’ actress Mena Suvari.
Currently Campbell is busy in pre-production with sci-fi series ‘Collider’, which is written by Nuno Bernardo and will be directed by Jason Butler.
