Returning to TG4 for the second series this autumn is GAA quiz show ‘Ceist GAA’. ‘Ceist GAA’ is produced by Galway based company Sónta and is presented by Hector Ó hEochagáin (Hanging with Hector, Only Fools buy Horses).
Produced by Eámonn Ó Cualáin and Seán Ó Cualáin (Men at Lunch), the 15 part series sees clubs from the four provinces compete to be named as Ireland’s No.1 quiz-club champions. Joining Hector on the second series of ‘Ceist GAA’ are resident captains Evanne Ní Chuilinn from RTÉ Sport and Mícheál Ò Domhnaill from TG4’s ‘GAA Beo’.
The Irish language quiz will explore the odd, the remarkable, the unbelievable and the strange from the history of GAA, using GAA archive footage. The club which can prove they know the most GAA history and trivia will lift the ‘Ceist GAA’ cup and will win a superb training camp for their club a the luxurious Carton House in Co. Kildare under the mentorship of a GAA legend. The show will be directed by Tomás Ó Neachtain and edited by Aidan McCarthy.
‘Ceist GAA’ will begin on Wednesday 14th September at 8.30pm on TG4 and will continue to air until Christmas.
