Six Irish projects will feature in the next Cartoon Forum - a European co-production forum for TV and new platforms for animation, which will be held in Poland.
Irish projects chosen to be pitched at the forum include ‘Cathy’s Costume Box’ from Treehouse Republic, with German co-producers The Big B Animation Co.;
‘Cosmo’ from Monster Animation and Design; ‘Jeff the Chief’ from Telegael Media Group with UK co-producers Hoho Entertainment; ‘The Overcoat' from A Man & Ink, with UK co-producers Once Were farmers and Gurpa Smacznego (GS Animation) from Poland; and ‘Zig & Zag’ from Double Z Enterprizes, with co-producers Fickerpix Animations from the UK.
The event takes place from 13-16th September in Sopot, Poland. It will showcase 66 new projects for animated series. About 700 animation producers, broadcasters and investors meet each year at the event which aims to provide an opportunity to set up co-productions and accelerate financial arrangements for new TV projects.
