Production on the fourth series of ‘Feirm Factor’ is set to commence this coming June. The broadcast of the third series came to a close at the end of March where Gavin Satchwell was crowned winner of the series. The fourth series will be directed and produced by Evan Chamberlain (Hector I gCeanada) and will again be shot in locations across Ireland.
Launching in January 2009 on TG4, Good Company Productions’ ‘Feirm Factor’ travels around Ireland in search of Ireland's Top Farmer. The fourth series will see director of photography Ross O’Callaghan (Karl Spain Wants a Woman) again come on board alongside the production team of Sharon Hickey and Brian Talbot. The fourth series will be edited in High Wire and Lime Street Sound.
The series will be carried out in similar fashion to preceding installments where twelve finalists will be chosen to take part in various farming challenges, supervised by presenter Maura Derrane (Four Live) and her co-judges who are TBC.
The third series of ‘Ferim Factor’ concluded on TG4 in Charleville Castle in Tullamore, Co.Offaly on Wednesday, March 23rd as Gavin Satchwell (pictured above) from Maynooth, Co.Kildare was crowned Feirm Factor Champion 2011 and winner of the Land Rover Discovery 4.
