| ‘Earthbound’ will be directed by Alan Brennan (Shapes) and produced by Heidi Madsen (It’s Some Kind of Voodoo). The film centres around Joe Norman - a man with no friends and a history of terrible jobs. Joe’s life seems pointless but he has a secret in that his mundane, dreary existence is a cover. Joe Norman is, in fact, an alien.
The last of his race, Joe has been hiding on Earth from galactic bounty hunters, waiting for the signal to return to his home planet. But when that signal doesn’t show, he needs a back-up plan, a plan which involves finding a genetically compatible human in a bid to continuing the line of his people. Said compatible human arrives in the form of Maria but she is soon suspicious about his real identity and then the aforementioned bounty hunters show up…
