Screenscene Gets Nuke-d | The Irish Film & Television Network

”As a result of the high demand for our VFX services we evaluated all the software tools we use,” said Jim Duggan, managing director of Screenscene. “Nuke is a powerful compositing tool that has grown quickly and become the de facto standard in the VFX marketplace. By expanding our offering to add NUKE X compositing suites we’re now able to work faster and more efficiently turn around our clients’ commercial and film projects.”

Eurotek, the Irish accredited partner of the Foundry was awarded the contract. In order to deliver more detailed and complex VFX shots, the contract included the installation of VFX asset management software across Screenscene’s expanded VFX division, new High End tailored VFX workstations. The system is bolstered with the addition of render farm management software to control and manage the new rack of BOXX 10400 CPU render farm which will enable the fast processing of HDR images and detailed VFX shots.
