The 4th Annual Waterford Film Festival is currently inviting submissions for this year’s event which will take place from the 5 - 7 November. Entrants are invited to submit work in groups of both Film and Screenplay competitions.
The Waterford Film Festival’s short film competition will now be called The Waterford City Council Award for Best Short Film with a cash prize (all amounts TBC) and certificates up for grabs.
In the feature categories, organisers of the event have said that the category is open to feature films and feature documentaries.
As to the event’s script competition, the festival has once again opened submissions to short screenplays between five and 15 pages in length.There will be a cash prize for this award for 1st place and certificates awarded to finalists.
The deadline for receipt of screenplay submissions is Monday, July 12th and all film category entries are to be received by Friday, July 16th.
