The festival is currently open for submissions. The Early Bird Deadline is April 14th.

Waterford International Film Festival showcases a diverse selection of short films from around the world that capture a range of stories and perspectives. From short films and documentaries to animations and music videos, the festival is dedicated to celebrating national and international short films in all forms.

This year the festival has added several new categories.

• Best Student or Debut Film
• Best Animation
• Best Music Video
• Best Short Screenplay
• Best Cinematic Image (Photography Contest)

The festival will run November 20th - 26th 2023.
