Belfast based production company Wild Rover is currently producing a brand new Lottery quiz show for BBC One this spring/summer. ‘Secret Fortune’ will be presented by Nick Knowles (DIY SOS) and will see winners play for undisclosed hidden amounts.
‘Secret Fortune’s producer Matthew Worthy (BBC’s Get Smarter in a Week) describes the premise of the new show to IFTN saying “Secret Fortune’ will see a pair of contestants teamed with 24 envelopes with different hidden amounts of prize money inside. Depending on how well the contestants answer a series of questions the envelopes are gradually eliminated until only one remains – the ‘Secret Fortune’ of the title.”
'Secret Fortune's Executive Producer is Wild Rover's Philip Morrow (Just for Laughs) and the series producer is John Ireland (Golden Balls) and the director is Chris Power (Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway). The series will be shot in Pacific Quay in Glasgow.
The production is currently looking to recruit a Production Secretary/Co-ordinator as part of their team. The start date will be the 4th May and the contract will run for approx 8 weeks. The coordinator’s main duties will include the organising of travel and accommodation for the contestants and contestant team. Interested indivisduals are asked to e-mail jobs@wild-rover.com by 5pm on Thursday April, 8th.
