Emmy Nominations for Irish HODs, 'GOT' and 'Vikings'

Game of Thrones has received 25 nominations across Drama, writing, director, acting, and the craft and technical categories.

In the craft and technical categories, Tom McInerney and the team on Vikings have been nominated in the Outstanding Makeup For A Single-Camera Series (Non-Prosthetic) category. ‘Game of Thrones’ is also nominated in this category; the team includes Irish makeup artist Pamela Smyth.

PJ Dillon is nominated as Director of Photography for his work on ‘The Alienist’ in the Outstanding Cinematography For A Limited Series Or Movie’ category. PJ told IFTN, It was great to get the opportunity to work on such a great production and I'm truly delighted to get the nomination.”

Ronan Hill receives his seventh nomination in the Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (One Hour) as Production Mixer on ‘Game of Thrones ‘Beyond the Wall’ episode. Ronan told IFTN, “I am delighted and honoured with this nomination which is a recognition of the work of my team and the entire sound team”.

Game of Thrones has received 25 nominations in total, the most nominations received by one show.
