The Irish Film Board (IFB) has announced that it is now accepting applications for its SHORT STORIES and REAL SHORTS short film schemes.
SHORT STORIES
SHORT STORIES invites filmmakers to use their imagination, creative story-telling and visual talent to excite audiences with succinct, inspiring and even entertaining films.
SHORT STORIES are live-action or animated fiction films between 2 to 5 minutes in length and have a budget of €20K.
Films may be made in the English or Irish language. If produced in the Irish language, subtitling will be necessary for festivals & sales worldwide.
Deadline: 1pm - Friday 23rd March.

REAL SHORTS
REAL SHORTS is a short documentary film scheme which will enable creative documentaries with high cinematic production values capable of reaching an international audience through theatrical and festival exposure. The filmmakers are encouraged to produce work with strong personal voices, presenting material which utilises the emotional and aesthetic technique of cinema.
REAL SHORTS can be up to 10 minutes in length and receive a budget of up to €20K.
Films may be made in the English or Irish language. If produced in the Irish language, subtitling will be necessary for festivals & sales worldwide.
Deadline: 1pm - Fri 23rd March 2018.
