In response to the BAFTA news, Element Pictures producers Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe, said.

It is truly an honour to be awarded by our industry peers and to see the continued success of Poor Things. Yorgos, Emma and the incredible cast and crew of the film, including of course Irish cinematographer Robbie Ryan, gave so much to this project.  It is wonderful to see it them get the recognition they deserve and huge congratulations to Emma for her Best Actress win.  Thank you also to Film4 and to our brilliant distributors Searchlight and especially our wonderful colleagues at Element Pictures who have worked so hard on the film over the last ten years.”

As well as Best Actor, 5 awards went to Oppenheimer including Editing, Director, Cinematography, and Score.
