This year's edition of the Galway Film Fleadh will take place from July 9th to July 14th, 2024. The Marketplace takes place 11th - 14th July, 2024.
The Marketplace at Galway Film Fleadh has opened its applications for this year's festival. The Marketplace co-ordinates pre-scheduled meetings between filmmakers with projects in development (and/or completed films) and invites Film Financiers, Distributors, Sales Agents, Broadcasters, Film Funds and Major Producers. A pre-selected group of producers with feature films/documentary projects will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of these companies.
The Marketplace has several unique selling points. It acts as a Transatlantic bridge. The event offers access to the world’s leading financiers, as well as showcasing new European and International cinema to leading Film Buyers, Distributors and Festival Programmers.
Alongside the Marketplace, many other industry events take place at the Galway Film Fleadh including conferences, seminars, masterclasses, debates, workshops and much more.
