MIPTV takes place this week in Cannes and the Ireland on Screen (in partnership with Enterprise Ireland) stand will play host to a number of Irish companies attending the Market.
MIPTV gives the world its first taste of the newest programmes, freshest formats and latest innovations for TV, internet, mobile and all video-rich platforms.
The Irish Film Board and Enterprise Ireland are supporting the Ireland on Screen Stand, which will host a range of Irish companies and broadcasters, including MIP veteran Network Ireland Television, Egg Post Production, Telegael, Element Pictures, JAM Media, Sideline, Tile Films, and Video Elephant.
The Stand Number is P -1 A84 in the Grand Palais.
RTÉ is also attending the Market – Michelle Spillane, Director of RTE Global, Janet Frawley, Head of Formats and Edel Edwards from Programme Sales are at Stand No P-1.A82 in the Grand Palais.
Lynda McQuaid - new Director of Content at TV3 - will also be in attendance at the market representing the company.
Other Irish companies attending include Monster Entertainment (at Stand P-1.C68), Octagon Films and Storytoys.
Northern Irish representatives attending include Paula Campbell - Skills Executive at Northern Ireland Screen, Nicola Lyons, Production Manager at Northern Ireland Screen, Stephen Nolan of Third Street Studios, Ronan McCloskey at Ronin Films, Jade Hamilton at Moondog Productions, Ross Morrison at Blacknorth and Raymond Lau at Green Dragon Media.
