Bag Films & Young Euro RSCG are celebrating their recent scoop of
two Shark Awards at the festival held in Galway during September.

Brown Bag received the nod for the International Television - Confectionery and the Irish Television - Campaign/Series categories for their Jacob’s Fig Rolls adverts. The commercials were directed by Brown Bag's Darragh O'Connell. They were 2D animation and relied on candid responses from children who were asked "How do Jacobs get the fig in the Fig Rolls"?
Brown Bag films have previously received an Academy Award nomination and are delighted to reinforce their world class competing standards of production with the international category win.
The Shark Awards is an annual advertising festival celebrating the best work in broadcast advertising from Ireland and around the world. Established in 1962, the Shark Awards are now thought of as one of the top creative advertising festivals in the world, making a Shark Award a peer accolade that ranks in the advertising industry alongside a Cannes Lion or a D&AD Pencil.
Shark Awards Festival Director John Holohan said, "It's been an especially successful festival for Irish agencies and production companies. For the first time in 5 years an Irish ad has won a Shark in an international category, namely "Elves" the ad Young Euro RSCG and Brown Bag Films created for the Fig Roll brand."
