Tom Vaughan-Lawlor has been cast in the role of Plummer in HBO's upcoming Game of Thrones spin-off, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

The former Love/Hate star will star alongside Edward Ashley, Henry Ashton, Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell in the series, which has begun production in Belfast.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will be set 100 years before the main storyline, and 100 years after the House of the Dragon prequel. Once again based on George R.R. Martin's work, the first season will comprise of six episodes which will be released on HBO and Max in 2025.

Martin and Ira Park co-created and are executive producing the TV series with Ryan Condal, Vince Gerardis, Sarah Bradshaw and Owen Harris also on hand to executive produce.
