IFTA Award Nominations 2024
The Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) has announced the 2024 IFTA Nominations for the Irish Academy Awards across 28 categories in Film & Drama.

Over the past few months, Irish Academy Members have been busy viewing, deliberating, and shortlisting the very best work from across great Irish films, dramas, performances, and craftsmanship. Nominations have been shortlisted by Irish Academy Members as well as specialist Jury panels of industry experts. Deloitte is the official vote scrutineer.

Award winners will be announced at the 21st Anniversary IFTA Awards Ceremony taking place on Saturday, April 20th at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre.  The Awards will be hosted for the first time by Emmy-winning broadcaster Baz Ashmawy.

This year’s Awards Ceremony will welcome Irish and International Guests from all around the world for a great gathering of industry peers, to mark the incredible achievements of the Irish screen industry, at home and abroad. Actors, Filmmakers, and International Guest Presenters will join in the celebrations and help give due recognition for Irish talent and storytelling, and to reward excellence in Film and TV Drama.

Last week, IFTA announced that legendary actor Stephen Rea will be presented with the Irish Academy Award for his Lifetime Achievement, and for his outstanding contribution to the Irish and international screen industry.

Academy CEO, Áine Moriarty said:
