New Series Starting on RTE

The Zoo
RTE's broadcast schedule has several new shows starting next week, commissioned from the independent sector.
IFTN will be covering these separately over the coming weeks, but some of the highlights include shows on Sunday evening, in the Dancing with the Stars slot.

National Treasures – new series
Sunday 8th April, 6.30pm
From EZ Films (formerly El Zorrero Films), National Treasures, a project telling the story of Ireland over the past 100 years through the ordinary objects treasured by families across the island, kicks off with the Cork roadshow. Presented by John Creedon.

The Zoo – new series
Sunday 8th April, 7.30pm
From Moondance Productions, the series always tries to show viewers not just the lives of the animals at Dublin Zoo, but also the importance of protecting these animals in the wild. 

At Your Service, new series
Sunday 8th April, 8.30pm
From Waddell Media, At Your Service features Franis and John Brennan in the all-too-familiar story of a family of artists and historians who gamely bought a country house but are now struggling to make ends meet and keep their historic roof over their heads. 

Big Week on the Farm, - new series 
Monday 9th April, 7.00pm
Indiepics format show, broadcast live from Waterford.  This is the third series of this award-winning show from Indiepics. Ella McSweeney and Áine Lawlor, will present the show, live from 7pm each night from a purpose built studio on the fields of the O’Sullivan Family’s dairy farm, in the Deise County.
