Promotions and Appointments within Element Pictures

Internal promotions for Emma Norton and Chelsea Morgan Hoffmann

Emma Norton, who has been Head of Development at Element for seven years has been promoted to Development Producer at Element. She will produce ‘Rosie’ with Juliette Bonass (A Date for Mad Mary) and Rory Gilmartin. ‘Rosie’ which starts principal photography this week, is directed by Paddy Breathnach from a script by Roddy Doyle, and is one of a number of upcoming projects at Element that Emma will be across as Development Producer.

Chelsea Morgan Hoffmann takes over as Head of Development, and will manage the development slate and team in London and in Dublin.

Ina Remme joins the company as part of the in-house producers team, which includes Rory Gilmartin and Rosanne Flynn, TV development exec Jez Scharf and development co-ordinator Matt Power.

Element has a busy slate of projects in development, including ‘Owned’ (Phyllida Lloyd), plus ‘I Found My Tribe’ (Ruth Fitzmaurice), ‘Duck’ (Paddy Breathnach and Mark O’Halloran), ‘The Littlejohn Affair’ (Marcus Fleming), and ‘3 Feet of Snow’ (John Butler), which have received development funding from the Irish Film Board. Element also recently optioned Emer McLysaght and Sarah Breen’s book ‘Oh My God, What a Complete Aisling’.

Completed projects for release include Lenny Abrahamson’s The Little Stranger (starring Domhnall Gleeson) and ‘Disobedience’ directed by Sebastian Lelio and starring Rachel Weisz and Rachel McAdams.
