‘The One Show’ filming Live in Northern Ireland

The usually London-based production presented by Alex Jones and Matt Baker began filming in NI Monday, August 7th and will continue to film until this Friday.

The week-long specially filmed slots will see the show continue from yesterday’s featured location Carrickfergus the Giant’s Causeway. featuring stops in Cushendall, Ballycastle and Portrush in the interim.

Alex Jones, Presenter:

"It's always great fun when we to take the show on the road, and I'm really looking forward to coming to Northern Ireland for the week. We'll be visiting some fantastic locations and bringing some great stories to The One Show audience"

Tonight’s show will see the team stop at the Heart of the Glens Food Festival in Cushendall, the Ballycastle seafront tomorrow, the east Strand promenade in Portrush on Thursday and finally the Giant’s Causeway to wrap up the week.

Guests set to appear on the show throughout the week are The Script, Nathan Carter and actress and singer Martine McCutcheon.

Angela Scanlon and Joe Lindsay will also travel along the Causeway Coastal Route in Northern Ireland’s most iconic car - the DeLorean.
