The Berlin-based Irish film festival has opened submissions for the first time in its six-year run, with an earlybird deadline of Wednesday, December 14th.
Shebeen Flick provides a platform for Irish films which have not yet been released in Germany, in tandem with Irish classics. With dates confirmed for March 16th-19th, it continues its involvement with the capital’s celebrations of Patrick’s Day.
The festival is accepting all formats for its March 2017 screenings in Moviemento Kino Berlin, which is Germany’s oldest cinema.
Eligible projects will have been made be an Irish filmmaker, or one working in Ireland and/or of Irish heritage. While submissions are welcome from any country, the content must be focused on Irish subject matter where the filmmaker is not Irish.
Submissions are welcome in the categories of both short and feature length documentary, live action and animated feature films, live action and animated short films and music videos.
