Bronagh Waugh, Actress:
“52% of movie goers are women yet only 15% of the highest grossing Hollywood films are led by female characters…I really want to see this film get made. I’ve seen the script and Bronagh is a really fantastic writer.”
Niamh McGrady, Actress:
“This story deserves to be told, not only for Bronagh and Jonathan but for Belfast and for Women in Film.”
Bronagh Taggart, Writer & Actress:
“I feel extremely grateful for the unwavering support the other actresses from 'The Fall' have given me. Not only are they talented and courageous but they are inspiring to me as women who continue to thrive in a business in which the odds are stacked against us. To have them back 'Guard', a female-led film, is an example of how women in the film business can nurture and encourage one another, which is not only awesome but extremely exciting.”
5% of all funds raised through the campaign will be donated to Women’s Aid NI.
