The thriller directed by Stacie Passon is currently filming in Co. Wicklow.

The script is co-written by Passon and Mark Kruger, based on the 1962 novel of the same name from Shirley Jackson.

Irish actor Peter Coonan, best known for his portrayal of Fran in ‘Love/Hate’ was pictured on set on set in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow earlier this week.

The rural setting will be used to build to world of the isolated Blackwood family, which has seen several of its members poisoned in recent years. Additional films shot on location in the Wicklow village include ‘Leap Year’ (2010) starring Amy Adams.

Additional cast members include ‘Captain America’ star Sebastian Stan as Charles Blackwood and Tessa Farmiga who played Violet Harmon in the first series of ‘American Horror Story’. The project is produced by Michael Douglas’ Further Films production in association with Great Point Media.
