'Game of Thrones' and 'Catastrophe' Primetime Emmy Nominations

GOT has 23 nominations across Drama Series, Directing, Writing, Actors, VFX, Sound categories; Catastrophe's Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney are nominated in the Writing Comedy category.

GOT has received Primetime Emmy nominations for Best Drama Series, plus supporting actor nominations for Peter Dinklage and Kit Harrington, as well as supporting actress nominations for Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey and Maisie Williams, and for Sound including Ronan Hill for Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (One Hour).

Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney are nominated in the Writing Comedy category for ‘Catastrophe’ while John Conroy has a DOP nomination for 'Luther', and Suzie Lavelle (both ISC Members) for 'Doctor Who'.

'Penny Dreadful' and 'Outlander' also boast multiple nominations, with the crews sharing places in both the Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Contemporary Or Fantasy Program category and Outstanding Costumes For A Period/Fantasy Series, Limited Series Or Movie.

The Primetime Emmy Awards take place Sunday 18th September 2016.
