'Wild Things' was created from footage in the archive of Crossing The Line Productions
‘Wild Things’ - a six-part short documentary series exploring Ireland’s native wildlife for a pre-school audience – will begin airing on RTÉjr from Monday, 16th February.

The series is directed and produced by Cepa Giblin. The editor on the project was Aoife Carey and the footage for the series is all from the award winning Crossing the Line Productions' archive - the majority of which was filmed by John Murray and Ross Bartley.

The colour grade was completed at EMC Post Productions and Killian Fitzgerald was responsible for the sound mixing – with all other areas of post-production occurring in-house at Crossing the Line Productions.

Crossing the Line Productions has been filming Ireland’s wildlife and wild places for over ten years and over this time have amassed a huge wildlife archive - with ‘Wild Things’ utilising the best of this footage to bring together six short documentaries voiced by children who tell the story of these animals in their own engaging way.

Made specifically for pre-schoolers – the series will explore animals such as golden eagles, humpback whales, red squirrels and butterflies.

The series is co-funded by RTÉjr, NPWS: Notice Nature and the UN Decade on Biodiversity.

‘Wild Things’ will air on weekdays on RTÉjr from Monday 16th February at 8.55am - with repeats at 5.40pm.
