Camerakit Ireland, also known as D+P Multimedia Products, will be holding a ‘Meet the Experts’ day this 24 April, offering practical hands-on demonstrations on how to operate sound equipment for video.
Audio expert Jim Hawkins will present an informative workshop covering the basics of understanding the importance of sound capture; microphone types and their applications; and best practice sound solutions for various shooting situations.
Other topics to be covered include capturing sound for DSLRs – the alternatives explained; a demonstration of radio microphones, quick set up and auto tuning; and setting up a sound mixer with tone line up and return monitoring.
The session will conclude with a questions and answers session, before a further series of lectures on financial advice for your business and equipment purchases.
Established in 1990, D+P Multimedia Products provides professional broadcast and production equipment to the film and TV industry and has since expanded its operation to Camerakit Ireland.
