The Viper, Buzz O’Donnell, Frenchtoast O’Toole, Sim Card and The Boo are back in feature film form with ‘The Hardy Bucks Movie’.

Released in Irish cinemas today (February 21), the Hardy Bucks travel across Europe to watch Ireland play in the European Championship, only to get embroiled in a number of Hardy Buck-like adventures.

Chris Tordoff, Kevin McGahern, Owen Colgan, Peter Cassidy and Tim Kilgallon are all back for their big screen debut, as well as the original TV series crew, made up of directors Elizabeth Gill and Mike Cockayne, and writer Martin Maloney, as well as Chris Tordoff.

‘Hardy Bucks’ originally rose to prominence in Ireland after winning RTÉ’s Storyland competition. After a successful web series, a TV series was commissioned, and later a feature film.

‘The Hardy Bucks Movie’ is funded by the Irish Film Board.
