‘Skyfall’ to be biggest Bond film of all time?...International box office figures are suggesting that the latest film in the James Bond franchise will surpass $800m, making it the highest grossing Bond film in the franchises’ 50-year history. The film has already passed the $500m mark, having only opened in the US last week. It was released in Europe last month.
ITV1 drops the 1… UK broadcaster ITV1 has dropped the ‘1’ from its title in a new rebranding scheme. The station’s flagship channel will now be referred to as ITV, with a new digitally-enhanced logo to boot. The ITV Studios brand name will remain the same, but with the word Studio underneath on a new logo. The new changes will be implemented in January.
'Game of Thrones' is back in March 2013
‘Game of Thrones’ unveils season three poster… HBO has released a teaser poster to remind fans that its epic show will return to US screens on March 31, 2013. Sky Atlantic airs the Irish-shot series two days after its US premiere. ‘Game of Thrones’ was shot in Northern Ireland this year, using locations such as Shane’s Castle and Paint Hall Studios in Belfast. Irish actors added to the lineup this year include Ciaran Hinds and Richard Dormer.
