The post-production work by the team at Windmill Lane in Dublin will be on display in two of the week’s biggest television highlights.
The return of ‘Love/Hate’ to RTÉ on Sunday night is hugely anticipated by many with full post on season three carried out at the Dublin facility.
The new series was cut at Windmill Lane by Dermot Diskin, with assistant editor Stephen Kidney. Colourist Matt Branton worked closely with DoP David Odd on the grade for the series.
The sound team consisted of Chris Whiteside, dialogue editor Fionan Higgins, sound mixer Dean Jones and sound supervisor Fiadhnait McCann. VFX were completed by Rob Hartigan and John Kennedy and all online work was handled by Robbie O’Farrell. Post supervisor was Mary Gilroy and coordinated by Sarah Caraher at Windmill Lane.
The six one-hour episodes were written by Stuart Carolan, produced by Suzanne McAuley and Steve Matthews and directed by David Caffrey for Octagon Films.
The first show of the new series airs this Sunday (November 11) on RTÉ One at 9:30pm.
Also on air next week is ‘The Mario Rosenstock Show’, which begins on Monday night. The new sketch show will see Rosenstock tackle the personas of such famous names as Joe Duffy, Daithi O’Sé and Miriam O’Callaghan.
Windmill Lane crews Gerry & Martin have been shooting for the programme on the Sony PMW 500. Edited at Windmill Lane by Janice Toomey, post was co-ordinated by Maura Murphy and onlined by Robbie O’Farrell.
Production manager for the series was Karen Reen and directed by Damien Farrell for Caboom.
The series starts on Monday at 9:30pm on RTÉ Two.
