One of the most anticipated Irish films of the next 12 months, Neil Jordan’s ‘Byzantium’ received its world premiere earlier this month at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Expected to receive an Irish cinema release early next year, the vampire drama stars Saoirse Ronan (Hanna) and Gemma Arterton (Quantum of Solace) as mother and daughter vampires living in an English seaside town.
Filmed almost entirely in Ireland at locations including Ardmore Studios, the feature was a co-production between American company Demarest Films, Number9 Films in the UK and Irish company Parallel Films.
